"Europe based Dutch artist with thirteen years of New York City stage and studio experience — performing regularly across the Netherlands and available for bookings."

Romy Balvers is a singer, songwriter, pianist, and composer whose music is shaped by thirteen years of living and working in New York City — those years gave rise to two albums, Midtown and Amsterdam Avenue — and eventually, a one-way ticket back to Europe.

During her time in New York, Romy built a rich creative life: recording in celebrated studios such as Volver, Hirsch, Precision Sound, and Michiko, and collaborating with acclaimed artists across the city's vibrant music scene — including Grammy-winning artist Pascal Le Boeuf, John Agnello, Michael Dilala, Paul Garisto, and Allen Harris. She performed at some of New York's most storied venues — Rockwood Music Hall, The Bitter End, Pianos, The Bowery Electric, The Shrine, The Delancey, and The Metropolitan Room, among many others.

Now back in the Netherlands, Romy is producing and publishing new music, and performing regularly on Dutch stages. Recent shows include De Roode Bioscoop in Amsterdam, Popei in Eindhoven, and Tivoli Rabo Open Stage in Utrecht — with more upcoming dates. She brings the intimacy, craft, and professionalism of the New York singer-songwriter scene to every performance.
